Meet The Founder


Hi, I’m Dr Amanda Gamble—sleep researcher, clinician, and the founder of Mightier Sleep.

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of

childhood anxiety and sleep. My career has taken me from leading-edge research labs to specialist clinics, where I’ve supported hundreds of families through some of the most exhausting and emotional chapters of parenting.

But this work is also deeply personal.

As a child, I was that kid —the one lying awake night, frozen by fears - burglars, ghosts, aliens. I remember agonizing over whether to stay in my room or run to my parents’, knowing that it was irritating them. I felt stuck, ashamed, and utterly alone in my struggle.

Back then, there were no practical tools, no understanding of sleep anxiety—just the hope that I would "grow out of it."

Today, we know better. And we can do better.

That’s why I created Mightier Sleep —an online program that combines science-backed strategies with compassionate, real-world guidance for families of children aged 5–12. It’s everything I wish my family had access to. And it’s everything I now offer as both a professional and someone who’s lived this firsthand.

Whether you're just starting to worry or you’ve been navigating bedtime battles for years, I’m here to help you find clarity, calm—and sleep.
